After completing over 300 dives in Grand Cayman's waters, I've learned that these encounters aren't just about luck; they're about patience, respect, and understanding marine life behavior. The morning started like many others at one of our secret spots off Seven Mile Beach. As a former IT manager turned dive guide, I've learned that the best wildlife encounters often happen when you least expect them. We were leading a small group of photographers (our photography packages start at $200 for 5 days) when we spotted her – a massive female green sea turtle, gracefully patrolling her territory.
